User Guide
Everything you need to explore the map, open object details, and understand what you’re seeing.
Map Navigation
Panning
Click and drag anywhere on the map to move around the city.
Zooming
Use the scroll wheel / trackpad gesture, or the + / − controls on the map to zoom in and out.
View modes
Use the on-map controls to switch between different styles (for example, a clean 2D map vs satellite/terrain).
Map Markers
- Point: A single object. Hover to preview, click to open full details.
- 12Cluster: A group of nearby objects. Click a cluster to zoom in and expand it.
- Hover highlight: When you hover a point, it highlights so it’s easy to see what you’re previewing.
How to explore (recommended flow)
- 1) Find an areaPan and zoom until clusters break into individual points.
- 2) Hover to previewHover a point to see a quick preview bubble. If a photo exists, it will be shown automatically.
- 3) Click to open detailsClicking a point zooms/centers the map and opens the right-hand details sidebar.
- 4) Explore metadata and photosUse the sidebar to read the description and browse photos (if available).
Details sidebar
Open & close
Click a point to open the sidebar. Use the close button to return to browsing.
Photos
If photos exist, you can browse them in the sidebar. Not every object has photos.
Object information
Name, address, coordinates, classification and description are shown when available.
Tip: opening the same object again is usually faster because the app caches fetched details in memory.
Troubleshooting
No markers or clicking does nothing
- Refresh the page and try again.
- Zoom in: clusters only expand at closer zoom levels.
- Try a different area on the map (some areas have fewer objects).
- Check your internet connection and try again.
Map tiles don’t load
- Refresh the page.
- Try disabling any aggressive ad/tracker blockers for this site.
- Try opening the site in a different browser or private window.
